When I tell people that I am in Boston for the weekend, most normal people think I’m here to see the Celtics or maybe take in a show. That would be what normal people would do.
What I’m here for is to attend a day-long conference about blogging and the software that powers this here blog, WordPress. Of course, WordPress has a community of devoted followers, users, supporters and other just plain fans–all of whom want to learn more about it.
Thus, a WordCamp. Or as my always acerbic older daughter likes to put it…Dad has gone to a geek festival in Boston.
