Election ‘08 has officially moved into the twilight zone now. The lawyers have already air-dropped in the battleground states, and the U.S. Supreme Court has issued a decision (about voter registration irregularities in Ohio) that will impact the election, some 18 days before the polls open. (Except in those states where they have the interesting concept of “Early Voting”.)
Fortunately my friends, the good folks at HBO have produced the movie that you MUST watch between now and election day and pray that we don’t have a replay of the 2000 presidential election and the subsequent constitutional crisis that was “solved” by another Supreme Court decision called “Bush v. Gore”.
A dramatic cinema documentary effort posing as entertainment.
It is called “Recount” and if you haven’t seen it–you should. No, make that you have to. No matter what your politics.
Go to Blockbuster, Put it on your Netflix Queue or just buy a copy at Best Buy.
